The aim of this project is to achieve a fundamental understanding of the SC3DP technology to manufacture sustainable, multi-objective optimised reinforced concrete components with geometrically precise surface quality. Therefore, the work program comprises five interrelated work packages addressing the reduction of the carbon footprint, constitutive fresh material laws regarding buildability and durability, online control of the fresh concrete properties, reinforcement integration, surface processing for complex free-form geometries as well as a mobile SC3DP process for on-site application. The combination of material science, structural design and process automation will take into account the strong interdependencies to form a holistic research approach.
