The aim of this project is to transfer the mechanism-based creep model to the case of thermomechanical fatigue (TMF) of both, single crystals and polycrystals. Model validation is achieved based on existing and new experimental results of TMF properties of conventionally cast and additively manufactured alloys. The transfer project aims at improving our understanding of TMF mechanisms and to make TMF behavior of components predictable.
