Ce-based 4f-3d permanent magnetic materials will be designed based on the systematic investigation of thermodynamic phase diagrams and the accurate evaluation of the intrinsic magnetic properties for the constitute phases. The parameterized intrinsic magnetic properties will be used in micromagnetic simulations in projects B12 and B13. The experimental results from projects A01, A02, A08, A03 will be used in the calculations which provide the input for phase diagrams simulation in project A06 and parameterized mechanical and magnetic properties for project A07, and to guide experimental investigations in projects B01, B02, and B03.
