Different research groups at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and of Materials Physics will use the machine for the analysis of micro crystalline coordination compounds and solids. The machine allows for the phase and structure analysis of research samples. Depending on the research unit, the machine will be used for the post and pre-catalytic analysis of electrocatalysts and electronic phase transitions of solids as well as the investigation of reaction intermediates, non-covalent interaction between molecules, structures of the chemical phase diagrams and the thermal stability of solids.
