TU Berlin maintains a publication fund to enable members of the university to publish their research results open access since 2017. Publications are eligible for funding when they are published in pure Open Access journals that have gone through a quality assurance procedure. The funding of the German Research Foundation will ensure the continuation of the fund. The fund will be co-financed by TU Berlin with 40 %. The publication fund is one core function of the open access activities for members of the university. It is realized along with numerous accompanying services like support regarding organizational, technical and legal requirements.
