The second funding period of the Publication Fund will focus on further increasing the share of primary and quality-assured Open Access publications in the total number of publications at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Individual advice and additional services increase the acceptance of Open Access, especially in the currently underrepresented research areas. For the University Library of the TU Braunschweig, supporting Open Access Publishing is part of its strategic development and a contribution to the open access transformation of scientific publishing. In addition to providing financial and advisory support for researchers in the publication process, other topics include optimizing business processes and expanding the technical infrastructure. This organisational, technical and legal structure of the publication fund offers researchers a comprehensive Open Access publication service, which increases the visibility and reuse of research results of the TU Braunschweig.
