The investigation on Nuussuaq (70°N) may be important because, first, its inland was, in the last 700 years, a center to hunt caribou. Its documentation provide data on Thule and historic caribou subsistence to extend knowledge from the traditional research area in Central West Greenland (64-66°). Second, the investigation of the second, very long, stone-built fence at Saputit will extend this knowledge back in time, maybe into Paleo-Inuit times (2500-0 BC).
