We study the dynamics of current-driven ferromagnetic domain walls in densely packed magnetic storage devices. Domain walls are used as basic elements of magnetically stored information. Aiming to achieve a maximally dense packing of magnetic nanostructures in order maximize information density (and thus miniaturization), a mutual interaction of the magnetic textures is unavoidable. We intend to work out the impact of a magnetic coupling of a domain wall to a current-driven partner in order to reveal its dynamical properties. Our results can be expected to advance the understanding of how magnetic devices have to be optimized to either avoid undesired effects or to explore mutual coupling for optimal magnetic information processing.
