Chemical reactions such as hydroformylation, hydroesterfication, or hydroamination) in micellar sol-vent systems lead to weakly-polar products (aldehydes, methyl esters, and amines). These weakly-polar compounds can be solubilized in the micelles. The project A9 N will develop a completely new model, which combines a detailed model for micelle formation with PC-SAFT accounting for the non-ideality of the system. This new model will be verified via experiments. The new model will allow cal-culating the distribution coefficients of the weakly-polar components between a surrounding water phase and the micelles.
