Term
since 2018
Project identifier

In this project, we explore how strategic disclosure of information affects the outcomes of R&D activities. First, we study the effects of endogenous adverse selection on competition and trade, and we investigate the incentives to invest in and disclose R&D activities. Second, we examine incentives to share information among research team members and study how organizational design features affect information transmission. Third, we explore the role of uncertainty in R&D and introduce dynamic models of ambiguity to study the implications of robust decision rules on R&D investments and the adoption and disclosure of new technologies.
