Project Details
Visualization of multi-field processes in porous media (D01)
Subject Area
Image and Language Processing, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous and Wearable Computing
Term
since 2018
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 327154368
The long-term goal of this project is to develop new visualization techniques for analyzing flow, transport and deformation phenomena at interfaces in and around porous media. In funding period 2, we focus on extracting features to bridge spatial and temporal scales as well as modalities, to make large data interactively explorable, and to provide the basis for comparative analysis and verification. We generalize our approaches to support a wide range of projects with our porous media visualization toolbox.
