(I) Generate optimised adrenal cell preparations for encapsulation and potential clinical application.(II) Advance the macroencapsulation strategy utilising multifunctional tailor-made polymeric biomaterials and MSC-support to functionally integrate the optimised adrenal cell preparations.(III) Evaluate optimised cell preparations in an advanced encapsulation system in in vivo preclinical tests for biocompatibility, safety and efficacy as necessary for clinical translation.
