Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 172116086
The main objective of this transfer project is the first-time and systematic investigation of the design and manufacturing of practical and areal calibration artefacts. Thus, measurement devices for the characterisation of 3D roughness parameters can be calibrated in a more practical manner regarding the measurement task. Due to that the measurement uncertainty of measurement tasks can be reduced. In cooperation with the industrial partners a model-based approach for the manufacturing and measuring processes will be implemented. As a result of the comprehensive analysis of the influences of the manufacturing and the measurement process the calibration procedures of 3D roughness parameters and their practical application is enhanced.
