Project Details
Sensorimotor and Causal Human Activity Models for Cognitive Architectures ((01) H01)
Subject Area
Image and Language Processing, Computer Graphics and Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Ubiquitous and Wearable Computing
Term
since 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 329551904
The goal of this project is to identify and model the causal structures and relations that underlie context-sensitive sensorimotor adaptation. To achieve this goal, we will investigate sensorimotor behavior in natural settings where the context of the task requires the planning and execution of complex trajectories, and we will develop suitable Causal Sensory-Motor Models (CSMMs) which are based on causal probabilistic graphs which represent the underlying causal structure.
