Random versus deterministic dynamical systems with aperiodic long-range order (A06)

This project aims at contributions to the classification of aperiodic dynamical systems, by considering concrete classes of spatial systems with mixed spectrum and varying degree of randomness. Generalised Eberlein decompositions and exact renormalization methods will be employed to identify the relevant building blocks and to derive concrete results of practical relevance.
