The Ottoman Tributary States Transylvania, Moldavia and Wallachia form the starting point for the study, in whichthe impact of the migration of objects and the associated transfer of knowledge is examined. An important component of the study is the comparison of artifacts and associated therewith imagological constructs related to the Orient as The Other of Europe.
