Evaluation of a parent training for families with children suffering from ADHD

In autumn 2005, we applied for a 48-month funding period for the trial. Thirty six months were granted (letter from 09-07-2007) with the prospect of a 12-month extension. The trial has progressed quite well so far, and 86% of the planned sample has now been recruited. However, due to a prolonged lead time before the first participant was included and progress since then, completion of the entire trial cannot be realized within the 36 months granted so far. As estimated initially, 48 months will be sufficient to successfully complete the trial. We are hereby applying for additional 12 months of funding.
