Covering a very wide range in frequency, this project addresses the dynamic behavior of quantum matter and the control of the order-parameter and fluctuation dynamics via external magnetic and electric driving fields. The topics range from the investigation of cluster Mott insulators, low-energy magnetic excitations of Kitaev spin liquids, non-ergodic formation dynamics of charge puddles and spin plasmons in topological insulators, towards field-driven dynamics, non-reciprocal and non-equilibrium physics in magnetoelectric and chiral magnetic compounds, as well as current-induced metal-insulator transitions in spin-orbit coupled materials.
