Quantitative image processing (Z02)

Project Z02 will support the individual projects of the consortium in quantitative image processing. Many projects perform sophisticated fluorescence microscopy experiments routinely, however the processing of the gathered data to extract the desired information remains a major bottleneck in data production. To overcome this bottleneck, we will support all project through offering training in image processing, coaching in the development of analysis routines and by offering on demand generation of graphical user interface-based image processing software solutions. We will furthermore offer data transfer and repositories and access to commercial software solutions for all projects.
