Project Details
Digital signal processing (B02)
Subject Area
Communication Technology and Networks, High-Frequency Technology and Photonic Systems, Signal Processing and Machine Learning for Information Technology
Biomedical Systems Technology
Biomedical Systems Technology
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 286471992
The project deals with digital signal processing, linking the sensor projects with the application projects by enabling complete sensor systems and working on a real-time framework as a user front-end and algorithmic processing environment. In addition, magnetic localization approaches are investigated together with medical researchers. The goal is to achieve an accurate real-time estimation of the complete position and orientation for classical medical devices such as ultrasound probes or endoscopes as well as the novel wireless motility capsule developed in another project.
