The golden sheet ornaments and ornate ambers were found in the Bronze Age fortification of Bernstorf of amateurs and archaeologists as reading or discoveries during excavations in 1998 and excavation 2000. Since the two groups of findings deemed fakes in much of the research and here about a violent discourse has become, it seems imperative all scientific data, facts and a detailed discovery history thoroughly submit so that a sound basis for a future serious scientific discussion will be created. In addition to writing own contributions and undertaking final researches on the find history in the archives of the Bavarian State Office of Historic Monuments and the Bavarian State Collection of Munich, which will be carried out in collaboration with R. Gebhard, the editorial support of contributions from 15 colleagues is another important task. Studies and reports on technology, style analysis, material analysis and datings were carried out and promised manuscripts.
