Project Details
Central scientific project Z1 - Quantitative biology experiments and novel approaches for identifying integrators (Z01)
Subject Area
Biology
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 270050988
In Z1, we combine our efforts in quantitative biological approaches at the level of individual projects as well as innovative projects with high impact for the entire consortium. In the next funding period, we will continue to consolidate quantitative biology experiments and design cutting edge projects. This will include a new forward genetics tool (pamiR library approach), the F2P2 approach to safely increase cyclic electron flow, and adaptive laboratory evolution experiments with two model Chlorella species. In Camelina, we will generate additional transgenic plants to test modulators and integrators for their potential to improve acclimation and yield.
