The project marks the second continuation of the central project within a funding measure initiated by the DFG. This initiative aims to support specialised individual projects that are aimed at developing generic tools and infrastructures for collaborative medical research. The focus is primarily on the domains of IT and research methodology. The TMF e.V. platform serves as the central hub for coordinating the content and organisation of the individual research projects. In detail, the central project has several key responsibilities: Firstly, the technical integration of the TMF e.V. into the individual projects and the synergistic use of the technical expertise in the projects. Secondly, the coordination of the individual projects with the specialist community, primarily through the TMF e.V. working groups, with the objective of creating synergies and ensuring the broad applicability of the research results. Thirdly, the sustainable availability and dissemination of the research results within the research community. Furthermore, the central project ensures that the developed tools and infrastructures are strategically further developed within the TMF e.V. portfolio. It should be emphasised that these objectives are in line with those of the previous applications and reflect the continuous, successful work of the central project.
