Project Details
In vivo fluorescence imaging - Analysis of membrane protein complexes in space and time (Z02)
Subject Area
Biology
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 267205415
As the central platform of the CRC for microscopic imaging and image analysis the Center for Advanced Imaging (CAi) we will enable the application of confocal and super-resolution microscopy as well as fluorescence spectroscopic imaging to analyze membrane associated complexes in space and time. Within the second funding period we will focus on (1) live-cell super-resolution microscopy to add information about the dynamic behavior of membrane proteins to high-resolution spatial information, (2) on improvement of temporal resolution of fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) to follow dynamic interactions and (3) we will contribute to develop an integrative research data management platform for the research teams of the CRC.
