In compliance with the „Guidelines for the Purchase of Licenses funded by DFG“ [1] and consistent with the intents of the Priority Initiative „Digital Information“ of the Alliance of Science Organizations in Germany concerning national licenses, serving to improve the information provisioning in research and teaching [2], the following offer for a digital object has been negotiated:• Linguistics, Literature and Humanities II (De Gruyter, Journals)The subscription of the current content 2019-2021 is to be subscribed and made available within the framing of a nationwide opt-in consortium. The members of the consortia and the DFG will share the funding. An innovative business model and conditions have been negotiated for the contract that might prove to be trend-setting for future license contexts and comply with the high standard of the “alliance licenses”.[1] Cf. http://www.dfg.de/formulare/12_181/12_181_en.pdf [2] Cf. https://www.allianzinitiative.de/en/archive/national-licensing/#c2383
