Project Details
Function of effector Treg subsets in glomerulonephritis (A03)
Subject Area
Nephrology
Term
since 2016
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 264599542
In the current grant application, we aim to address the following aspects in mice and human GN patients: 1.) Define the hitherto unknown role of IKZF3 for generation, stability and function of RORγt+ Tregs and other effector Tregs in GN. 2.) Assess the function of CXCR6 for effector Treg trafficking, homeostasis and expansion in GN. 3.) Unravel the functional heterogeneity and potential plasticity of RORγt+ effector Tregs under inflammatory conditions.
