Aim of the proposed project is the development of electrically conductive platinum nano and micro structures which are interesting for many applications. Based on the auto reduction of platinum salts in silicate environment the two-photon reduction of silica gel matrices will be investigated. The limits of the structurable concentrations and therewith the achievable conductivity values will be determined. By varying of the laser performance and scan speed in the two-photon reduction process it is aimed to find out optimized parameters for conductive platinum micro structures. Possible application fields of these structures are the use as microelectronic components or micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) in sensors.
