In contrast to silver nanoparticle dispersions it is not possible to obtain laser-generated closed conductive paths for silver microparticle dispersions. In this project, silver microparticle dispersions will be modified to enable the laser-based manufacture of silver conductive paths. Several dispersion compositions will be tested with different laser interaction times with regard to vaporization of the organic solvent and the decomposition of the organic components. We will vary the stabilizing additives of the dispersion in order to minimize the balling effect (which occurs during laser treatment), optimize the expulsion of organic components and finally obtain homogeneous conductive paths.
