Archive studies and figure editorial work concerning the monograph 'A fresh view on Byzantine wall-paintings in Turkey'. Research and selection of color images in the figure archive of Prof. Ruggieri (Pontifcio Istituto Orientale, Rome). Generation of digital images for the publication. Set up of a numerical concordance of the images for the monograph including text editorial. The work also in-cooperates many images from the own archive and those of other institutions (Berliner Museen, derived of the partial estate of Theodor Wiegand), the Ephesos Museum (Dr. M. Büyükkolanci) and also of the 'Institute für Byzanzforschung' (Dr. Friedrich Hild, Vienna Univeristy). Those have to be brought into concordance with the Roman material of Prof. Ruggieri. Set up of a list of figures and a pictorial proof as well as the generation (design, layout) of color plates for the final publication. Final revision of the figure numbers in the text (all above, as until now).* Additionally after the end of the stipend, Professor Günter Paulus Schiemenz (Kiel) offered highly valuable historical photos of wall-paintings from the Paulus-Höhle, Mt. Latmos range (Western Asia Minor, as documented there in 1968) and from a so far unknown cave to supply the present book publication as the work in progress. Professor Robin Cormack (Cambridge) also supplied me with additional photos from wall-paintings at Aphrodisias, Caria plus some photos from the recent Anatolia trip of Professor Ruggieri. The financial plan set up together with the publishing house in Rome, was accepted (in December 2015, see attachment) by the new institute's directorate (PIO, Rome), but causes now plenty of additional work, because the publishers now demanded to hand in all pictures in a special digital format of the photos as .tiff format. So, the picture part of the book has to be reworked and renumbered and this is also one of the main reasons in hereby applying continuation, because the project could not be finished until now.
