Project Details
Modelling and simulation of joint interfaces during tailored forming (C04)
Subject Area
Mechanics
Term
since 2015
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 252662854
The aim of subproject C04 is the cross-scale modelling of tailored-forming hybrid components. A major aspect of the work is the formulation of an improved damage model on the macroscopic length scale of the hybrid components. Another aspect deals with the development of an artificial intelligence for cross-scale material modelling, taking into account thermodynamic consistency for hysteresis behaviour. The combination of these two aspects enables the implementation in a commercial simulation software package and thus the transfer of the results of fundamental research to industrial application.
