D04 investigates the structure-building aspect of information structure as well as its effects on argument realization and constituent order in one discourse-configurational and two non-configurational languages. A central goal of D04 is to develop a frame-theoretic representation of those aspects of discourse structure, which have been found to be central for the disambiguation of IS-interpretation of marked constructions. Another goal is reference structure modeling to capture different types of definiteness and specificity marking and various refer-ence management tools in the target languages.
