There is an increasing need to be able to inspect, understand, or reproduce data-driven processes. To this end, we study how to visually explore and analyze provenance, i.e., data encompassing descriptive information of the processing. We focus on interactive and comparative analysis of provenance traces, requiring both runtime optimizations for collecting provenance and tailored analysis. As such techniques introduce uncertainty to provenance traces, we investigate how to model and visualize this uncertainty. We leverage collected provenance both for the quantification of interaction quality in interactive visual analytics and investigate how it may support immersive replicability of experiments.
