The new application is in fact an extension of my earlier Project (sign removed) that focussed Vaisnava art in Angkor compared with that in India. The result of my research was published or is going to be published in Arts Asiatiques, Artibus Asiae, Indoasiatische Zeitschrift etc. In the end I will present a survey on Vaisnava art in Southeastasia (Java, Champa, Angkor, Thailand). If there will be time left, I will include the less fertile Saiva art and try to give an outlook regarding the diffusion of Hindu art from India to Southeastasia - pantheon and iconography.
