At the Technical University Berlin (TU Berlin) an "Open Repository for Research Data in Acoustics (OPERA)" shall be developed that guarantees the long term storage and availability of research data and research publications. In collaboration with the Audio Communication Group of TU Berlin the ¿Service Center for Research Data and Research Publications (SZF)¿ will realize the repository and integrate it into the research data infrastructure of TU Berlin. SZF is a cooperation of the university library, the IT service center and the research department of TU Berlin. The research unit ¿Simulation and Evaluation of Acoustical Environments (SEACEN)¿ (FOR 1557) will be the pilot partner in the OPERA project. OPERA shall enable the acousticians in Germany to safely store their research results. In addition, it shall be a working tool for the acoustical community in Germany and internationally for searching and re-using research results in the field of acoustics.
