Spin noise spectroscopy is an essential tool to study the spin dynamics of charge carriers in semiconductor nanostructures yielding important information, e.g. on decoherence mechanisms, relevant couplings and other parameters. In the first period, we achieved significant theoretical progress in methods ranging from mathematical proofs to efficient codes for numerical algorithms, mostly applied to two-point electronic spin-spin correlations. In the second period, we will address large spin baths including all quantum effects, higher-order spin correlations, and nuclear spin noise by extending the so far developed approaches.
