Final Report Abstract

What originally started as a project on the legitimacy of changing rules of resource allocation in health care – in particular of cadaveric human organs – in view of „end point results“ turned into a project concerning intermediate allocative results. The focus is now on the equality of chances of individuals with alternative characteristics. How the likelihood to gain access to human organs will be affected by different rules of organ allocation can be simulated with a simulation package and original Eurotransplant data.
