The SLUB Dresden requested for the project Digitization and indexing of printed matter published in the 18th century in the German-speaking areas (VD 18) - main phase the development and complete digitization of 10,000 prints and 1,000 journal volumes with approx. 1,300,000 pages of 18. century for cooperative national bibliography of the 18th Century (VD 18). The aim of the project is to apply the tried and tested in the pilot phase, processes and technologies for the mass digitization of historical prints in the main phase and optionally further optimize.
