Carbazo-anilines: The general objective of this proposal is to investigate different pathways to access axially chiral enantiopure ortho-carbazo-anilines and to evaluate the potential of these compounds as chiral ligands. The main objective is to devise an enantioselective method in order to directly access enantio-enriched C-N cross-coupled products. This technology would be derived from the original racemic method that we have recently communicated, through C-N bond forming Cross-Dehydrogentive-Coupling. This project is innovative because we study here an unprecedented type of axial chirality, which is surprisingly not based on sterics, but on a unique intra-molecular NH-N H-bond.
