The main objective of the application is to further optimise the supply of literature for criminological research with improved full-text offerings through licensing of specialist journals and databases and a PDA model for e-books. The focus continues to be on the targeted expansion of the content of the specialist database KrimDok as the core service of the FID. This is to be achieved by expanding journal evaluation, cataloguing reviews, indexing the publications of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data, which have arisen from the research data archived there and are documented in KrimDok, and through further cooperation (e.g. with the German Prevention Day). One main focus of the funding period is to support research data management in criminology in cooperation with Qualiservice as an accredited research data centre, whose management is a co-applicant. Together, subject-specific materials, advice and training on FDM are to be designed and archiving options for sensitive and complex unstructured (qualitative) criminological research data are to be communicated.
