Lifetime measurements will be performed with the fast timing method using Orange electron spectrometers, Ge arrays and very fast LaBr3:Ce detectors. The results will be compared with calculations using a mapping of mean field calculations to the neutron-proton interacting boson model. Nuclear structure evolution and systematics will be studied in the shape transitional A~180 region.
