Project Z1 is the central coordination point for all administrative, organizational and budgetary matters of the CRC/TR. It handles administrative issues and administers student assistant positions, laboratory visits, FungiNet meetings, international meetings, gender equality measures, start-up funding for promising early career researchers, travel costs, publication fees and flexible funds. Z1 supports the integration as well as the public awareness of the research activities, the promotion of gender equality and early career support measures.
