Plans to develop novel pharmacological tools to enable the investigation of the G-protein coupled receptors BLT2, G2A and GPR75. These receptors are modulated by oxidized fatty acid metabolites and are coupled to Gq-mediated signal transduction. A fluorescent ligand for BLT2 will be synthesized and characterized to study the role of the receptor in colitis. For G2A the structure activity relationships (SAR) will be investigated, while for GPR75 it is planned to identify first synthetic ligands.
