Final Report Abstract
3D SIM imaging of the foci resulting from the DNA double-strand break repair complex Ku80 was used to show p97 mediates the release of trapped Ku80 rings. In a study of the role that CEACAM1-3S plays in driving melanoma cells into NK mediated cytolysis, SIM imaging was used to resolve the localization of CEACAM isoforms in vesicle-like structures at the sites of cell-cell contact.
