Project Details
Molecular mechanisms of the redox regulation of necroptosis during acute lymphatic leukemia (A21)
Subject Area
Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine
Term
from 2013 to 2020
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 61867463
The project aims at identifying the molecular mechanisms of redox signaling as regulatory principle of signal transduction during necroptosis as alternative mode of programmed cell death in preclinical in vitro and in vivo models of apoptosis-resistant leukemia. The results of the project are expected to open new perspectives for targeted therapeutic interventions in necroptosis signaling and have important implications for various fields of life sciences where defects in cell death programs occur.
