Intention of the project is an historical narratology of lyrical Topoi of the 12th to the 14th century between 'Minnesang' and 'Minneroman'. Focusing the discursive quality of 'Minne' both of these genera illustrate the very efficient connection between narrative structure and lyrical metaphoric. The methodical approach amplifies the narrative analyses of poetry to a historical transgeneric and intermedial descriptive model. This approach puts lyrical Topoi into focus as a literary venue of the dialog between poetry and narration, distinguished by the ability of metaphorical inversion. Based on these Topoi the project pursues the complementary double movement, which on one hand structures the Poetry of Love in a narrative way and which amplifies on the other hand the 'Minneroman' in a lyrical discursive way. The consequences of this double movement have to be systematically exposed in the literature of Middle Ages.
