Project Details
Micro- and nano-optical sensors (C01)
Subject Area
Microsystems
Term
from 2013 to 2017
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 210420491
The goal of project C01 is the development of sensors for high resolution, spatially-distributed monitoring of temperature and humidity, allowing both relative as well as absolutely calibrated measurements. Two technical concepts for temperature measurement will be pursued: Bragg gratings and asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometers. The project aims to realize two-dimensional sensor networks, including light sources and detectors, distributed over the polymer foil.
