Project Details
Hadron Distribution Amplitudes (A14)
Subject Area
Experimental Condensed Matter Physics
Term
from 2013 to 2020
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 35592816
Hadron distribution amplitudes describe momentum fraction distributions of valence quarks in hadrons at small transverse separations. They are crucial ingredients in the description of hard exclusive processes that are part of the experimental programs at all future high-intensity, medium energy accelerators. In this project we will calculate the first few moments of the distribution amplitudes of the baryon, pseudoscalar meson and vector meson flavor octets using lattice QCD.
