The purpose and goal of Z3 is to support all projects within the SFB 986 with methods and expertise in specimen preparation and electron microscopy. To achieve information about morphology and composition of newly developed multiscale material systems with highest precision and accuracy, Z3 and other projects collaborate closely in the application and development of modern methods of electron microscopy.
