Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 31047526
In this project we first investigate the theoretically expected non collinear spin texture at the interface of multiferroic heterostructures. Further time resolved optical experiments will investigate the ultrafast ferroelectric and coupled multiferroic dynamics. Ultimately we intend to use intense THz-transients to switch the fer-roelectric polarization. Based on the theoretical methods developed in the current funding period that allow to calculate multiferroic dynamics we will perform realistic simulations that will help in the interpretation of the experimental data.
