Project Details
Molecular Analysis of Lymphotoxin-ß-Receptor and Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor p55 Mediated Hepatic Regeneration Processes (A06)
Subject Area
Immunology
Term
from 2012 to 2020
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 190586431
Cooperative signalling of LTßR and TNFRp55 is essential for liver regeneration. Detailed analysis post PHx in mice specifically deficient for LTβR in hepatocytes, endothelial cells or cholangiocytes will identify signalling pathways downstream of the LTßR in these cell lineages that are required for efficient liver regeneration. Finally, in the preceding funding periods several LTßR/TNFRp55 regulated genes, among them Murinoglobulin 2, were identified by transcriptome analysis which will be analyzed for their capacity to regulate liver regeneration.
